The exiguous holes are observed on the grains by which the grains are not used for the food purpose. Dudabhai Arjanbhai Pandav of Dholka taluka of Ahmedabad district uses, traditional method for storage of wheat (Triticum aestivum) grains. After harvesting of wheat crop, the chaff is left. This chaff is tightly filled in a room to settle. From the middle portion, this chaff is taken out in such a way that from all the sides, it remains two foot thickness. In 100 sq foot room, 2000 to 3000 kg grains of wheat can be stored. This method is comparatively good as compared to other methods of grain storage.
