This chaff is tightly filled in a room to settle. From the middle portion, this chaff is taken out in such a way that from all the sides, it remains two foot thickness. In 100 sq foot room, 2000 to 3000 kg grains of wheat can be stored. This method is comparatively good as compared to other methods of grain storage. The grains can be kept insect pest free for the period of one year.
