Detail:

According to innovator in 1999, bhunsaraa, an insect pest had infested and consumed all the leaves of whole crop of black gram (Vigna mungo) and maize (Zea mays) crop. To cure this condition, innovator has placed some of the branches of jatropha (Jatropha curcas) plant on the bunds and boundaries of field plot. As a result, the bhunsaraa, an insect pest will feed on the branches and leaves of jatropha plant. Hence, black gram is saved of the problem.
