About the Practice
Detail:

Innovator propagates jack fruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus), grafts of mango (Mangifera indica) and various other plants from last three years. Here, termite is the main cause for the destruction of nursery and seedling plants. To control this problem, branches of catechu (Acacia catechu) plant are placed at different places of nursery. If termite is found in the mango plant, then also the branches of catechu are planted near the tree. Hence, this treatment successfully controls the termite infestation. Farmer has been using this practice from last 2 years.
