Parmar boils two kilogrammes of the dried flowers of butter tree with cotton balls and feeds it to cattle. Only a few farmers in this region use this practice. Feeding animals with cotton seed and seed cake is a much more common practice. Farmers believe that feeding cotton ball soaked in water makes separation of butterfat from the animals milk easier.Boil 2 Kg of the dried flowers of butter tree (Madhuca indica) with cotton balls and feed it to cattle.
