These white pests resemble ants and have a life span of about 15 days The method of preparing and using the mixture is very simple. Rathwa mixes around 60 kg of empty castor shells and 2kg alum. He then spreads the mixture while ploughing on the land before he sows the seeds of the chilli and brinjal.
