About the Practice
Detail:

Grains of wheat are soaked in cold water. This soaked seeds are then kept covered with leaves of teak and tellicherry bark plant in bamboo basket for 24 hour. Spraying of warm water thrice a day gives complete germination of wheat. The so processed wheat grains are then used for sowing. This results in increase in yield when compared with unprocessed grains. This practice is used for last 2 yr and is adopted by number of other villagers. This practice is passed on to an innovator by his ancestors.
