About the Practice
Detail:

Elephant"s foot does not grow well in socky and sticky black soil areas. For that, farmer filled an earthen pot with paddy husk (Oryza sativa), farm yard manure and normal clay. As Elephant"s foot are allowed to grow in this earthen pots. Edible bulbous roots can be grown in such areas by this method to get an increase production of crop.
