Take 500 gm each of tender leaves of neem (Azadirachta indica), dried spike of sorghum (Sorghum vulgare) and stems of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum). Pound the ingredients and mix in 1 lit of buttermilk. Stir well and allow to ferment for eight days. Filter the solution and store in a glass bottle. Dilute suitably and spray over armyworm-infested fields and soon the deadly cocktail destroys the caterpillars.
