About the Practice
Detail:

"katra" or "ghogha"caterpillar, having hairs all over its body attack any type of crop in large hordes. It encroaches the leaves and tops of the crop, which hampers the growth of crop. As soon as attack of this caterpilar is observed on groundnut crop, Ramabhai scatters leaves of wind killer and milk hedge randomly in the field. The caterpillars feed upon these leaves and die. The caterpillar has life span of 10 days. During this period, he spreads these leaves 2 - 3 times in field to control the caterpillar.
