The innovator uses leaves of leucaena, neem and aloe for control of leaf infecting caterpillar. He takes the three types of leaves in equal proportion and boils these in water. After filtering the decoction, he uses the filtrate for spraying on groundnut crop. Effect of this traditional remedy is seen within 2- 3 days. This controls about 70 - 80% infestation and he has been using this method for over 8 years.
