For storage of grains for a long period in good condition, finely powder the leaves of Chaste tree are used. For 100 kg of the grain, take 1 kg of nirgundi powder and mix well. This is then kept in the storage place. Instead of leaves the branches can also be used. Burn the branches of Chaste tree and take 500 grams of this ash and mix it with sand. Take 2 kg of this mixture and place it in the storage area first and then keep the grains for storage. Hundred kilograms of grain can be stored in this manner. Afterwards close the barn with the lid. For a long period the grains are not damaged. After the grains are removed, this drug can be re-used.
