"Seed treatment for early germination in low moisture areas. Moisture is a limiting factor in Western Haryana. Here the farmers soaks gram (Cicerariteum) seeds overnight before sowing. They follow the same method when sowing has been delayed. This practice helps in early germination. Same practice is also reported in Gujarat for mustard. "
