Jaggery to remove white grubs hosting inside coconut trunks. Farmers in Junagadh make use of jaggery to control white grubs in coconut. They apply jaggery mixed with water into the hollow parts of coconut trunks to remove white grubs hosting inside. The sweetness of jaggery attracts ants who attack and kill the white grubs.
