Detail:

He come across many old weavers or those affected with chicken guinea disease were unable to put energy by pressing the pedals operated by legs. He designed introducing 4 wheels (one is for increasing the weight and other wheels for transferring the motion) in the handloom. In this system he is almost successful in operating the handlooms using one leg and by and one hand only. This is like power loom model but without motor or power. This innovation reduces 50% of energy while pedalling without compromise on the quality and output of Sarees produced in given time. A handloom weaver with his one hand and one leg can successfully weave Sarees with ease and less drudgery. The output is same for both the conventional and new design. This will cost Rs. 75,000 for installation.
