About the Practice
Problem Statement:

Once during a visit to a dairy farm he observed the hesitation of labors in picking and collecting cow dung by hand. While interacting with the dairy farmer, he came to know that there was always shortage of manpower due to the nature of work involved. This motivated Mohan to work on developing a machine to pick and collect cow dung without any physical contact.

Detail:

In this machine, cow dung is collected by machine through motor operated conveyer belt. The whole machine is simply manually operated on four wheels. Machines which are currently available in market are mostly installed on site as per the requirement, which are scrapers. They cover one long span of area at a time. Secondly, cow dung is cleaned by water with high pressure. This is wastage of water. Also, sensory robots are available which works completely without manual operation.
