Special Features of the Patented Design of the Mosquito Repellent Coil: (1) User-friendly product : The existing design of coils are intermeshed and cannot be used without removing each from the other. The patented design of coils need not be separated from each other for burning. The user can burn one coil, it will turn into ash while the second one will remain intact; the coils need not be intermeshed, i.e. one coil in one layer. (2) Increased utility : If required the user can generate additional smoke initially for some time to drive away the mosquitoes. It is possible to generate 300% or 500% smoke, after some time the coil will automatically switch over to normal quantity (100%) of smoke. (3) Economical product : The patented coil is smaller and lighter than the existing coil. The manufacturer can save on: - packaging - energy costs - transportation, handling, storage costs etc. (4) Ease of manufacturing : The patented coil is very easy to manufacture. It is more efficient than old variety of coils. The design permits a higher draft angle for the tool, which ensures better tool life. Special Features of the Patented Device to burn the Mosquito Repellent Coil (1) It can hold the coil as well as broken pieces, several of them together. (2) It is stable and does not topple.(Any size of broken piece can be burnt it need not be shifted to keep the balance.) (3) The chances of paper, cloth etc. catching fire is less. (4) The ash does not soil the floor. Parag Khedkar is also working on a few other projects. These projects are still in the pipeline and a lot of work is yet to be done to make it a successful product. (a)An efficient IC engine: This type of engine may give around 10 to 12 percent more mileage. This concept can be used on any type of reciprocating engine (two stroke/ four stroke/compression ignition/ spark ignition/diesel). This engine will generate less vibration and noise. (b)Automobile headlights (antiglare) : It will reduce the discomfort the drivers face during night due to the glare from headlights of approaching vehicles. (c)Clutch/brake wire for two wheelers (motor cycle/scooters). Accidents occurring due to failure of clutch/brake wire will be avoided. (d)Driving mechanisms for bicycles. The user will spend less energy driving this cycle compared with existing bicycles. (e)An improved vacuum cleaner. This vacuum cleaner will clean more effectively. (f)An efficient air compressor. This air compressor will consume less energy and hence it will resuce the cost of compressed air. (Those who are interested in any of the above ideas should contact the innovator.)
