Detail:

Voluntary involvement in herbal plant cultivation : He owned 5 acres of garden land and a pump set. Though he used chemical amendments in his land first, he is only now practicing organic farming. He allotted quarter portion of land for his family survival and the remaining would be for rearing of rare tree species and herbal plants. His garden now looks as a heaven.Now the garden has 200 types of herbal plants, 75 tree species, 15 fruit trees, and 15 types of flowers. Now his garden is equipped with herbal plants and rare tree species, which will grown only in hilly areas, which is full of rocky barren land nearly 10 years before. He used to apply Vermi compost, prepared by him individually. This will help the plants, to grow organically with devoid of diseases and quick growing also. Wild animals sanctuary in the farming land: He is also rearing rare animal species and flying creatures like Snakes, Rabbits, Reptiles, Myna, Crow, Sparrow (Black variety), Wolf, Gowthari and so on. The predatory bird "LAKUDU" is a specific one. Rearing of Bees along with animals and Prawn cultivation in well is also going on as a part of his service. Income generations: During selling of herbal plants he collects money, based on the income level of the client. Usually he does the practice with full free of cost or as an interchange formula (for onion). He said that Teak, Bamboo, Subabul were sold frequently, Particularly Subabul is very crutial. His annual average income is Rs.2000/. He is also used to participating voluntarily and shares his experiences in herbal training meetings, conferences and inorganic farming also.
