Charging of mobile while travelling
Need For A Mobile Charger Cellular phone plays very major role in the progress of our nation. My new invention is meant to rectify a major disadvantage connected with the cellular phone usages. Whatever be the make of the cellular phones they all depend on single power source: a battery to operate which needs to be constantly charged. A discharged battery renders even the costliest mobile phone become useless. There are provisions to charge battery at homes or offices even on cars. The most widely used vehicles such as two wheelers in India is neglected so far. Two and three wheelers, buses and trains are modes of transport which majority of Indian populations use for commuting. My mobile - mobile charger makes use of the D.C current available in all the transport mode mentioned above so that the mobile phone can be charged even when the person is on the move for minutes / hours/ days /weeks or months together. While on move on whatever may be the vehicles as long as there is a DC power source. This concept can be extended to trains by our Indian Railways, which is considering providing Internet service to its commuters. This is a must as prolonged journey lasting up to three or four days are undertaken by millions in India and there is no single cellular phone which can work for long period with out charging. This concept was developed by myself when I was on tour for three days where I carried a cellular phone but I had forgotten to carry the charger. As I have been traveling on my two-wheeler I thought with dead cell phone in hand the idea struck me why not utilize the d c power source available in motorcycle. So when I returned home I called my friend Mr.V.Ashok D.E.E. an electronic service engineer and explained my need and asked him to prepare the required circuit which he did immediately. Presently the circuit prepared by me is for two wheelers fitted with battery power source. My further plan is to prepare a circuit for two wheelers with magneto power source only. I am also planning to prepare a circuit for passenger buses where the commuters could be provided with a charging socket for their mobile phones. Mobile-mobile charger working principle. Since all battery chargers work on direct current, what is needed is to device a circuit to control the input and also the out put to the right requirement. Further it is important to ensure the no over charging takes place, which may damage the cellular battery. So adequate provisions are made to cut off the excess current in the input and output stages by proving zinars in the circuit.
