Detail:

There are lot of submerged bore wells in and around Namakkal District of Tamil Nadu. Sometimes the submerged motor will have to be get repaired and in such case lifting of submerged motor / pump costs Rs.1500 under manual method. It is very cumbersome and costly. In order to get such problem Sri. Dhanaraj has developed power operated chain pulley block anchoring 20 feet Tri stand / clamp. Working Mechanism By using 1.5 H. motor the chain pulley is operated by anchoring with a stand of 20 feet height. This chain pulley lifts a load of 1.1/2 ton capacity. It lifts the pipes measuring any length pipe are removed from borewell. It requires minimum 3 labourers for this purpose. By using this method the cost of lifting borewell pipe is Rs.1500 only. The innovators daughter Mrs. Deepa has tested this equipment as part of her project work in Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic for women, Coimbatore - 641 044.
