About the Practice
Detail:

V.A Johny has devised a low-cost machine to milk cows without causing them any irritation. it requires no electricity for operation and the cleaning process is also simple. It is a simple machine that works on the principle of the vacuum. It consists of the following parts: pump attached with hand lever, milk bottle and transparent plastic tube attached to four cup-shaped rubber bushes that are connected with an air valve. One end of the pump is attached to the udders of the cow and the other to a milk bottle. When the lever is lifted upwards, the milk comes out from the udders of the cow, and will be deposited in the air-valve through the attached plastic tubes. The rubber bushes prevent leakage of air between the plastic tube and the nipples of the cow. As the lever is pulled downwards the milked that is stored in the air-valve flows through the tube to the milk bottle. Since transparent plastic tubes have been used, the process of milking can be seen, so the lever can be pulled once the milking is done. -The machine is low-cost -No electricity is required for its operation. -The cleaning process of this machine is simple.
