The innovator change the sowing pattern of cotton by sowing were done o the ridges of water channel is two feet width and each channel is separated by a distance of six feet. When water is applied, and is seperated by ridge which is 2 feet and six feet is left as such. The reduction in water requirements also reduces and controls the weeds. It also control wilt and disease like ball disease and yield remains equal normal sowing pattern.
