Detail:

The innovation subsequent made by cutting three tin sheets to a diameter of 20" and fitted them into one by welding carefully with a gap of 2mm between each tin sheet. The innovator also made holes similar to those found in the old 20" dia. muffler. This modified muffler assembled by him was fitted with the 20" dia. Silencer tube. To his surprise, he observed that he could lower the sound and reduce the level of smoke emission.The smoke emitted was white in colour instead of black indicating less of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in it.
