Problem Statement:

1.Reliance of dying technologies to reduce and recycle waste. 2.Some of the technologies marked as “green” are not true in actual sense. 3.Proper and effective seggregation of waste, and this minimizing landfills with toxic wastes. Also,The segregated waste leads to 80% reduction in waste being dumped. Therefore, one needs the ‘three bin approach’ at source (house/office), where the waste is separated into wet biodegradable waste, dry recyclable waste and non-recyclable waste, Then it be converted it into a valuable resource for creating a cleaner and greener planet.

Therefore, one needs the ‘three bin approach’ at source (house/office), where the waste is separated into wet biodegradable waste, dry recyclable waste and non-recyclable waste, Then it be converted it into a valuable resource for creating a cleaner and greener planet. Therefore,the idea features a smart-bin that performs various waste management tasks such as waste collection, segregation and disposal at source(homes/offices) itself. It makes use capacitive sensors/other cheaper sensors to distinguish between wet and dry waste and has a built-in plastic detector along with Photodegradation/microwave Pyrolysis-system external to its body to decompose the plastic waste by aid of sunlight and UV radiations/microwave radiations.The bin will also display the message that it is full!! to user, so that the user dont need to check it every hour, making the workplace hygienic. It makes use of Intelligent system, AI technology and the basics of capacitive sensing and applications along with the photodegradtion/microwave mechanism . Advantage of Photodegradation mechanism and ​Microwave pyrolysis,is that we can alter the product composition to suit business needs, by changing the process conditions. This idea would creating a cleaner and greenery earth by the concept of Seggregation of waste itself!!. and also help create employement oppurtunities.

Also, the waste is separated into wet biodegradable waste, dry recyclable waste and non-recyclable waste. 2)Also, helps decompose the plastic waste by aid of sunlight and UV radiations(photodegradation) . 2)​Microwave pyrolysis converts waste into three products: bio-oil, char and gas. Each of them has its own benefits:- a) Bio-oil: It can be used as an additive in petroleum plants. After pyrolysis, the oil is processed to purify it and then it can also be used a bio-fuel. This is our major source of revenue. b) Gas: It can be used with a turbine to generate electricity. Most of this gas is used to run the plant itself. c) Char: The leftover char is a good fertilizer. It is also an extremely useful material for manufacturing various chemical products.
