Smart Home : Boon For Physically Challenged People
About the Practice
In our project we focused on solving different problem that physically challenged people faces which can be done automatically or with less efforts. The main we focused on rain detection and preserving clothes from getting wet.
Detail:
It is not very difficult for normal people to use home appliances but for physically challenged people it is quite difficult to match up daily routine tasks. With our project we try to target such problems for physically challenged people and provide solution for that. During our project we found some problems such as -->If no other family member is at home and suddenly it starts raining so the clothes hanging at the roof may get wet as for such people it is difficult to do it so fast. --> If at midnight when everyone is sleeping and suddenly a gas leakage occurs then? --> It is little bit difficult for physically challenged people to open the locks and door. --> Sometimes they feel difficult to turn on/off lights or other appliances in the home while leaving the home. we also provide some features for the normal people such as -->To park the vehicle in the garage we manually (or by pressing key) have to open the shutter. --> Families who live in the apartment very often faces the parking problem.
